Question: Why did the airline Ryanair suddenly have a crisis in October necessitating the cancellation of multiple flights due to pilot rostering difficulties?

Answer: The shortage of pilots at Ryanair was orchestrated by the trade union movement in a smash and grab on the world's most successful airline. Similar problems at a company styled American Airlines in November had similar causes. The pilots' strategy is to hit the airlines with artificially induced rostering problems of this sort rather than to take outright strike action which would put them at risk of losing their jobs.
