I love squirrels. We don't have any around our house. We do have skunks, huge geese, cute quail, pheasants, and teeny tiny little field mice - also cute.
I watched squirrels just yesterday while my son was getting some items from office supply store. Right next to the store is a cemetery. I parked close by the fence where there was shade and so I had a front row seat. They made use of the headstones by jumping and cracking nuts on them. I hope my lonely plot would be so used one day.
Adrienne, I like the sound of that house! Luisa, Your animals have such exciting lives. And occasionally deaths! Kat, I'm picturing young lions sporting over my grave on the plains of Africa. Oh right. That's Derek Fynch Hatton in Out Of Africa. Ruthers, at last you're back! James
