James, I'm caught between feeling flattered and tsking you.
Thank you very much. And tsk.
Why are they SMILING? Even the floozy with her dress half off! And is that a bit of her tongue showing? I don't remember her licking her lips in anticipation in the Bible, but perhaps I missed that part.
I suppose the fellow looks shockingly like some twerp from the JP. :)
Again, thank you for the lovely drawing. If I had the capability, I would print it and hang it. (Or course, I am now picturing the young Heelers, staying after school to scrub desks after being caught drawing Bible stories everywhere...)
Actually this wasn't drawn during school days. This is from my mature period. No really. I spent the Summer of 2001visiting a Carravaggio exhibition in Rome. Everyday I would make drawings based on the paintings. Mine all came out like this. Carravagio's figures tend to mug at the camera a lot less. J

You know, this line alone makes me flirt with Deadly Sin Envy. I spent the summer of 2001 teaching summer classes to hooligans.
Although, like Carravaggio's subjects, some of them were mugging, too. And most had mugshots.
I'd say you got more great art from your hooligans than I did from Carravaggio!
