moment of clarity

Reading a religious magazine.
An article catches my eye, supposedly written by a convert to Christianity.
He says of his baptism into the faith: "When the priest blessed me, I felt three demons leave my body. They were Anger, Resentment, and Hatred. No one else saw them. But I saw them and knew what they were."
Bloody hell, bold readers.
Are those demons?
