Hi Joan.
I've written to you once or twice and you've occasionally favoured me with replies.
Some thoughts.
How about publically proposing the critique that anti depressants do not rectify brain chemistry and that the medical profession has taken a tremendous wrong turn in claiming that they do?
How about advocating openly a model of mental health with dignified therapies tailored to the individual and provided by staff and clinicians of expertise, experience, compassion, patience, wit and insight in properly resourced healing environments as has been done at pioneering projects in the USA and Finland?
How about speaking openly about the voodoo of anti depressant medical practice which has been passed off on the citizenry as justifiable scientifically wihen the only real rationale for such practice is the profit motive?
Why not let more people know that anti depressants were origiinally derived from the by products of rocket fuel?
Whadday think Joan?
Is it time?
I've continued to send Robert Whitaker's Anatomy Of An Epidemic to public representatives in Ireland. Everyone in parliament will get one eventually.
James Healy
