i sat nervous ill at ease
his arguing had brought my faith to its knees
this day when rain had fallen
now fell the mightiest citadel of them all
a ray of light came straying through
to play upon my troubled face
and i beheld the splendour in the grass
a thousand sceptred miracles in glass
