news flash

Vladmir Putin's government in Russia has begun distributing a Corona Virus vaccine to what it describes as high risk groups at seventy locations around Moscow.

The groups are considered high risk because the vaccine will probably kill them.

a perfect gift for the yuletide season

The new James Healy CD compilation featuring many of your all time favourite songs.

Savour the lyrical richness of some unforgettable cover versions.

"Last Christmas

You gave me a jumper

And the very next day

I gave it away

This year

To save me from tears

Give me something better.

Ner ner ner.

Ner ner ner."

Or how about a classic rendition of John Lennon's immortal 1972 hymn to the peace movement...

"And so this is Christmas

And what have we done

We've called for surrender

To Ho Chi Minh's Viet Cong

And a very merry Christmas

And a happy new year

I hope it's a good one

With plenty of cheer

A very merry Christmas

I hope you have fun

The near and the dear ones

And of course Mao Tse Tung

War is over

If you want it

War is over

If you want it

And so this is Christmas

Let's abandon the Vietnamese

What could possibly go wrong

It'll all be a breeze

War is over

If you want it

War is over

If you want it

A very merry Christmas

To Chairman Mao

He's very nice really

Don't have a cow

A very merry Christmas

To Baader Meinhof

The IRA and the Basques

Democracy **** off

War is over

If we surrender

War is over

Let's all surrender

A very merry Christmas

To the Red Brigades in Italy

To Leonid Brezhnev

And all at the KGB

A very merry Christmas

For black and for white

Sovietised slavery

Will be alright

War is over

If we surrender

War is over

If you want it

Hey Yoko

What's a Jihadi

Yoko

Yoko

Hey

Who beheaded Yoko

This is turning into a merry Christmas"

Then there's this emotional tribute to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency.

"Young man

If you're down on your dough

I said

Young man

There's no need to feel low

I said

Hey there

There's a place you can go

You don't need... to... feel... unhappy

Ner ner  ner

Head on over to the UNRWA

Ner Ner Ner Nerdle Nerdle

The UNRWA

You can go quite mad

Take part in Jihad

You can hang out with Recep and Vlad

At the UNRWA

Ner ner ner nerdle

There's lovely people

At the UNRWA

Kick off your shoes

You got nothing to lose

Making war on eight million Jews

At the UNRWA

Ner ner nerdle nerdle ner

UNRWA."

After that, there's a nice seasonal change of pace with this unforgettable cover of the legendary Chris De Burgh's most romantic ballad...

"It was late that night on the open road.

People calling out his name.

Name, name, name.

Beware that hooded old men

With his hand on the tiller.

Then the ferryman said

There may be trouble ahead

So you must pay me now

Don't do it

You must pay me now

Don't do it

Still that voice came from beyond.

Whatever you do

Don't pay the nanny

Don't even fix a price

Don't pay the nanny

Till she gets you to the other side

Ah ah ah ah

Ah ah ah ah ah."

There's even a little rap music in the form of a song as incomprehensible as a WB Yeats poem, with apologies to somebody who calls himself Eminem.

"Do trailer park atheists go round the outside

Round the outside

Round the outside

Ner ner ner ner ner ner

Do trailer park atheists go round the outside

Round the outside

Round the outside

Ner ner ner ner ner ner

Guess who's back

Back again

Heelers back

Tell a friend

Guess who's back

Guess who's back

Guess who's back

Ooowa ooowa ooowa

Nernnnn

I've created a monster

There's nobody wants to

See Heelers no more

They want Brian Byrne

I'm chopped liver

But if Byrne's what you want

Well

May God forgive ya

So let me see

FF n FG

Won't let me be me

On Irish TV

They're taking a trip

With the usual schtik

But it won't do the trick

Because no matter how many wearisome atheistic abortiionist conformist lefties on RTE

It'll be so empty without me

Something something something

Something something something else with a joke in it

And so on"

bolero

december light

grey mist

pavements glistening with a touch of frost

shop windows glowing

passers by scurrying in scarves and coats

christmas close but not yet

poetry in the early onset of evening

craggy doubters believing for once

little birds with their feathers fluffed for warmth

coffee brewed to a froth

allison humming something about love

heaven and earth are closer than they appear

all the promises of god are true

dances with atheists

Those atheists who wish to make a science of their denial of God, increasingly find themselves claiming aspects of Deity for their atheism.

The statement increasingly in vogue among atheists to wit: "If you think you understand Quantum theory, then you haven't understood Quantum theory," is merely a rehash of Saint Thomas Aquinas' idea: "If you think you've understood God, you have not understood God."

Richard Dawkins attribution of limitless creative power to chance phenomena is a culling of the notion of limitless power from Jewish, Christian and Muslim understandings of God.

Mr Dawkins notion that he himself is all knowing with regard to the accidents he ascribes to the origins of life is a claim of Deity for himself.

Atheistic scientists explaining the universe as existing because a wave form equation which they have devised makes its existence probable is a borrowing of the act of faith from those who believe in God.

Mr Dawkins has derided belief in God as being akin to worshipping something he called the flying spaghetti monster.

This is akin to claiming that the act of according credibility to a scientist or any scientific perspective is the same as belief in the fictional character Doctor Frankenstein and his theories as evinced by the author Mary Shelley in her famous gothic horror story.

There are many many spaghtetti monsters in atheism. (Imagine me saying that in Commandant Lassarde's voice Mahoney.)

The notion that life began spontaneously by chance is a spaghetti monster.

The notion that all creatures on earth evolved from a single cell is a spaghetti monster.

The notion of the multiverse, currently advocated by atheistic scientists who now recognise that there isn't sufficient time in existence as they conceive of it, for Darwinian evolution as the conceive of it to occur, the multiverse being their proposal that the time element no longer matters because reality, as they conceive of it, involves limitless numbers of universes undetectable by experience but constantly winking in and out of existence, and that everything that can happen does happen somewhere including a designerless dynamic for the multiverse itself, life starting by chance, and evolution from a single cell to every living thing we see, is the ultimate spaghetti monster, one which the atheists have raised up as their golden calf, have prostrated themselves before and have attempted to make compulsory for the rest of us to prostrate ourselves before, with a feckless hysteric enthusiam that would embarrass a tribesman worshipping Jujus in the woods.

vladimir putin's greatest hits

The sudden Turkish sneak attack on Armenia which began in September using the Azerbaijani Statelet as a proxy, along with Arab militias recruited mainly in Syria, has ended for now.

Regions which Armenia had held since the 1990s have been reconquered by Azerbaijan.

The Armenian enclave of Nagorno Karabakh, at the outset geographically surrounded by Azerbaijani territory, has been heavily attrited with widespread damage to homes, infrastructure and the natural environment.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has brokered the ceasefire deal which effectively copperfastens the gains made by Turkey and Azerbaijan in their smash and grab war, while deploying Russian peacekeepers to protect what's left of Armenia and the ruined enclave of Nagorno Karabakh..

I would suggest that there are grounds to believe that Mr Putin remained inactive for the first month of the conflict in order to deliberately allow the Turks to weaken Armenia and thereby to compel Armenia to come begging to Russia for intervention.

There is a suspicion in my mind that Mr Putin may have had a secret agreement with Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the limits that Russia would allow for the aggression.

I am reminded of the secret agreement between Stalin and Hitler for the division of Poland in 1939.

In the same week that Mr Putin has sent his peacekeepers to Armenia, news has broken that Russia is selling nuclear reactors to Turkey.

The Muslim Brotherhood government of Turkey joins their regional rivals the Islamic Republic of Iran as beneficiaries of Mr Putin's largesse in the sale of Russian nuclear technology.

I am reminded of yet another of Stalin's secret agreeements with Hitler in the 1930s whereby the Russian communist dictator allowed his German Nazi counterpart to secretly raise German armies and to create an air force on Russian soil in order to evade the restrictions imposed on Germany by the Treaty of Versailles.

Stalin believed Hitler would be a problem only for the Western World.

In the end stopping him cost many many millions of Russian lives.

Mr Putin thinks Islamism is a problem only for America, Canada, Ireland, Britain, Europe, New Zealand and Australia.

I predict that Islamist nations armed with nuclear weapons by Russia will ultimately take many many millions of Russian lives.

the tough man

Sitting on a bench in a park.

A tough man approaches and sits down.

I recognise him but it is not true to say I know him exactly.

I know of him.

We have never been introduced.

"Will you talk?" he asks.

Sometimes I won't talk bold readers because there are people who think I'm talking because I'm afraid of them.

I don't like to let them get confused.

But today whatever the whimsy, I indicated that I would talk.

"I have a brain chemistry disorder," said the tough man out of the blue. "I've been on anti depressants for twenty years."

"I have to ask you," I said, "and I mean nothing by it. I'd ask anyone the same question. How do you know you have a brain chemistry disorder?"

"My doctor told me."

"When?"

"Twenty years ago."

"Okay."

I asked him a few questions about his life and he answered.

Then I said: "Do you mind me asking where you live. Okay. My image of that is that it is a tough place to live. No disrespect to the people or the buildings. But it's a tough place. There are pressures for anyone living there. Nothing to do with your brain chemistry. It's a tough place for anyone to live. The dogs in the street know that on that estate you've got to get used to being offered Maloneys drugs every day of your life from childhood on. Maloney's drugs will destroy you as will being a member of his gang. I don't care if they're what you call soft drugs. My testimony to you is that they will steal your life and leave you with nothing. Marijuana today is about fifty times stronger than it was twenty years ago. You might as well be electrocuting your brain direct from the mains and then wondering why you don't feel good.If you take them, those drugs will damage you as much as what the doctors are now dosing you with. Again nothing to do with your brain chemistry. Another thing. On that estate, if you're not friends with the Maloney gang, they'll make your life a misery. That'll damage you too. I knew the guy who jumped off the bridge. It'll be real misery. No brain chemistry disorder there. Thugs making your life a misery. A perfectly reasonable response to misery is to be miserable. Your brain is working fine. If you are friends with them, that brings consequences and pressures too. They destroy everything they touch. Do you go to church? I'm not judging. I'm just saying our generation is the first generation in recorded history to think we could live without God and we're finding out the hard way that we can't. And doctors are telling us we have brain chemistry disorders. It's hilarious. Living without God is not a brain chemistry issue. It's an issue of ignoring the Creator of the Universe who made you for himself. No one on earth has ever managed to do it and be happy. Do you have a job? Any bullying there. Right then. You're ahead of the chase. Some of us can't hold down a job or if we have one we're getting a hard time in the work place. American Psychologists would be very optimistic about your prospects for mental healing since you're employed and you don't have workplace problems. Relationships? Married? Okay, okay. Do you watch pornography? You don't have to tell me if you don't want to. No brain chemisty disorder there. But if you're watching it, it will take your peace and ruin your personhood. Have you taken part in any of the sorcery stuff going on in the town? Black magic, devil worship, ouijie boards, that sort of thing? If you're doing it, it will destroy you, brain chemistry, body and soul. Any unforgiveness in your life? Anyone do anything really lousy to you that you've never let go of? Forgive it all. That's a heap of healing right there. Have you ever read the Gospel of Saint Matthew? Listen. All I can do is tell you what I think. Medicine has taken a tremendous wrong turn in the mass dispensing of anti depressants. Anti depressants are inherently harmful for everyone who takes them.  If you decide to come off anti depressants, you're probably going to need back up. You'll be as addicted to those as you are to Maloney's poisons. So there will be withdrawal pain. But withdrawal pain is the good kind of pain. It's the pain of your body saying to you: 'every day in every way I'm getting better and better.' You'll need the help of people you trust, family maybe or any one you can really confide in as a friend. Get other advice. You've talked to me and I've given you my honest assessment. This is the best I can do. What I'm saying to you, I truly believe. There's nothing wrong with your brain chemistry. There never was anything wrong with your brain chemistry. You were suffering a lot and making some terrible decisions. But your mind has an ability to heal itself. It wants to be well. You were made to be well. Lose the porno. Lose the hoorin and toorin. Lose the sorcery. Lose the drugs. Lose the television. Forgive, forgive, forgive. Read the Gospel of Saint Matthew. Pray. Go to church. Doctors can't say that to you in case you'd sue them for being judgemental. And anyway they can't make money in treatement that simply involves guiding you towards making an effort to address things in your life that are hurting you and that you need to change. The anti depressants are not rectifying anything. They are preventing you from experiencing reality. They are preventing you from identifying and addressing the issues you need to address in order to be at peace with yourself. They are blocking your brain function. And they're damaging you. If you decide I've spoken truly, consider carefully your next step. I am saying you can be well. Get help. From someone who doesn't think drugs are the answer to everything. And regardless of what you think of me, go to church and ask God for his help."

In five minutes talking to him, I'd gotten the clinical history his doctor hadn't bothered looking for twenty years ago.

And I'd establsihed that he'd spent twenty years on the same anti depressants that no one is meant to be prescribed for any longer than six weeks.

I ask you.

Have the doctors got a conscience?

It's a rum world.

People and clinicians will flee from five hundred coherent rational explanations for mental pain.

And along the way they'll embrace every horror they meet.

And they are oh so comfortable with brain chemistry.

the trump dilemma

There is significant evidence of widespread electoral fraud in this month's Presidential election in the USA.

I am suggesting that the election was stolen from Donald Trump.

The methodologies for the fraud began to become apparent in the months before the vote with opinion polls vastly overstating support for Joe Biden, and continued via systemic early media declarations of States for Biden on election night to create an appearance of momentum for Biden and suppress the Trump vote, and culminated late the same evening in the synchronous abandoment of vote counts in several States to allow for the manufacture of phantom votes for Biden in order to overturn overwhelming Trump leads.

The dilemma for Mr Trump is that those methods have been used before in attempts to cheat Presidents he may not wish to be seen comparing himself to.

In 1960, the Democrats are reputed to have stolen the Presidential election, cheating a young Richard Nixon out of his rightful victory on behalf of John F Kennedy.

I say "reputed to have stolen" because we always have to consider the vested interests of communists, mafias, and other mischief makers in shaking public confidence in every election we hold.

Nonetheless.

The gambit was purportedly engineered through the late night gerrymandering of results in a single county of a single State.

On the whims of history, Mr Nixon's name has since become a dirty word in American politics so it is unlikely that Trump staffers will cite his experiences in 1960 in arguing that the present election was stolen.

The ruination of Richard Nixon's reputation has entered folklore as his just deserts for some purportedly criminal behaviour by staffers of his who in the early 1970s attempted to surreptitiously insert recording equipment in a Democratic Party office.

In truth Nixon was brought down by a persistent media campaign of slander which stampeded his own party away from him.

They've been trying to do precisely the same thing to Trump with an identical range of dirty tricks right up to their use of an essentially frivolous impeachment process to create an aura of criminality around the President.

Remember the Dems only threatened Nixon with immpeachment but actually have impeached President Trump. The threat was enough to drive Nixon from office but this time the American people weren't buying and the impeachment of Trump was widely considered a politicised legalistic bums' rush Democratic Party scam too far.

Still Trump's people are not inclined to adopt a media strategy of comparing themselves with Nixon.

When Nixon did win an election in 1968 and again overwhlemingly in 1972 the media and the Democratic Party used smear tactics to discredit him suggesting repeatedly just as they have done with Trump, that Mr Nixon was mentally unstable.

The dilemma remains. How can Trump show how this game is presently being orchestrated without bracketing himself with President Nixon?

Another aspect of the Trump dilemma in addressing these methodoligies of electoral fraud, is the clear analogy between what has been done to him and what was attempted with George W Bush in the year 2000.

Early on election ngiht 2000, the media networks began calling Florida for Al Gore. This was done while the Republican strongholds of Florida were still voting. Since the populace had been told that Bush couldn't win without Florida, declaring Florida decided for Gore, meant the Bush vote was collapsed both in the still voting Republican panhandle areas of Florida and across the United States of America.

Bush still won but this is how the coup was attempted. The intention was to collapse the Bush vote and bring some close run States within stealing distance.

On election night this month, Fox News early on announced Arizona for Joe Biden. This is one of the States whose results are the subject of allegations of fraud. None of the other major networks called Arizona for Biden.

Left wing commentator Michael Moore claimed twenty years ago when trying to refute notions of an attempted Democratic Party coup against George Bush implicit in the early Florida declaration, that it was in fact the supposedly Republican Party sympathising Fox News which first called the State wrongly for Gore. Michael Moore also tried to diminish the notion that an orchestrated fraud was in place using an early declarations methodology by claiming that the Fox News announcment had been made by a cousin of Mr Bush's who worked at the network. Of course Mr Bush's cousin may have read out such an announcement. There is no possibility that he made the call.

So for Trump again we have the dilemma of whether or not he wishes to compare his situation with that of a President whom he has opportunistically vilified particularly with regard to what I call Mr Bush's heroic and necessary decisive interventions against Al Qaeda in Afghanistan and the Saddam Hussein murderocracy in Iraq.

Just so's you know where I stand folks.

There is another dilemma for President Donald Trump involving the fate of yet another putative President from the recent past..

Some of us assert that Mr Trump is this year being robbed of the Presidency through electoral fraud.

Some of us on the lunatic fringe of conspiracy theorists are also suggesting a paradigm involving electoral fraud perpetrators acting on Mr Trump's own behalf or at least to his benefit using exactly the same methodology four yeas ago to rob the Presidency from Hillary Clinton.

It's grim up t'western civilisation.
