Just once I'd like Sarah Brightman and Andrea Bocelli to come onto the National Concert Hall stage, and instead of launching into yet another wearisome rendition of Time To Say Goodbye, performing a rumbustious version of Sarah's earlier hit, the seminal spandex and sensuality anthem I Lost My Heart To A Starship Trooper wherewith she was disporting with similarly attired spandex clad sylphs styling themselves Hot Gossip in the dulcet Summer of 1979 on a television programme called Top Of The Pops, possibly before she ever even suspected there was such a thing as classical music or indeed evening attire that did not involve spandex, and which rendition reached the parts Time To Say Goodbye seems to miss.
